HOT Coco Beardmore. NOT Coco’s calamities. HOT Mike’s fantasies. NOT Mike’s reality. Let’s face it, everyone knows a beautiful woman who can’t walk through a room without tripping over the coffee table, or turning every situation into a total debacle. Trainers at Keystone Downs have been dumping Coco Beardmore and she’s landed in Mike West’s lap. The problem is that Coco is a complete klutz! Her driving skills are a real bang—into Mike’s horse trailer. Her sultry seduction will set the room on fire—the kitchen that is. What’s more are her Thoroughbreds one flips while being saddled, one sits down like a dog in the starting gate, and then there’s the one that’s an escape artist. It’s enough to drive a normally calm and collected Mike West to the very edge. Mike’s not the only one having problems with women. His father Eric has taken on more than he can chew, and he’s about to get spit out by two women One that he’s in love with and one that thinks he’s in love with her. Oh yeah, things are hot around Westwood Thoroughbred Farm… and someone’s about to get burned!
Hot Coco An UnBridled Adventure Cindy McDonald Books
Cindy McDonald has shown that she can write two different types of books. There is the suspense type in Deadly.com and there is the humorous type in Hot Coco. Cindy still keeps you guessing the entire book, but what she makes the two West Men have to endure is a little much. The story is about 4 Women, one just tries to get Mike into bed and things get out of control. Two of the women are after Eric and he was just trying to help out one of the women and she gets all starry eyes over him. The other woman just wants Eric to pay attention to her and Eric can't understand what he is doing wrong. Then comes the fourth woman and she is the witch and she stirs everything up even more for both the West Men. Hot Coco is very hard to put down, and well worth the time to enjoy a good laugh or two.Product details

Hot Coco An UnBridled Adventure Cindy McDonald Books Reviews
I wish the book had been edited better. It was missing a lot in this edition, but it was a good story.
I enjoyed the horses, and the story line was ok, except for unbelievably klutzy Coco. Not once did she offer to pay for the massive damage she caused. My chief complaint is misspelling; for instance pique was used two or three times instead of peek and peak, caret instead of carat. Very odd sentence structure, such as '...hair cascaded around her downy shoulders ...'. Are her shoulders fuzzy? '(The horse) sucked in the flavour (of the mint) with such replete ...'. The ending was a pleasant conclusion, and I think Ms. McDonald's stories would rate far higher with some editing. I was surprised that it wasn't mentioned in the review I read, so perhaps I have an earlier version.
I enjoyed this story and will ready more of her books in the series. It was a fun read. The characters were well developed and believable.
Not quite a typical romance. Long, and drawn out but all in all good when it is all said and done. The hero and heroine? You make the choice of WHO it really is....
I almost didn't download this free book because the cover made it appear to be a romance novel. However, I am always looking for adult horse books, so I decided to give it a try. It wasn't so much about horses as about the people who are involved in horse racing, from the wealthy owners to the laborers at the race track. There were a couple of quirky race horses who didn't like to run, but most of the characters were the people involved in horse racing. It wasn't a great book, but it was cute. I enjoyed it. It was a quick read.
Coco is a klutz and I know how that feels. This was a good read also, even though it had a little less drama than the murder mystery. It completely held my attention until the end. I was a little disappointed that the pairings at the end weren't quite what I hoped, but I would read it again.
While i liked the horses part, the rest wasnt very good
- After realizing Coco and Mike werent going to be together like i thought, i stopped reading which is why i have no idea if it does actually happens
- Coco was a clumsy, annoying broad who anyone can see defines the dumb blonde expression who uses her body as a way to get what she wants but then is also sweet, genuine not fake
- The points of view were fairly easy but why must we know about everyone from the horses to the far away farmer or something?
- I dont know if this was the first book in this series but it was the first one i read of it and i was not impressed
+ While i didnt like the multiple useless points of view, i did like the background on each character
I didnt finish the rest of it so this review is a bit of a shot in the dark but i couldnt finish it because it just didnt hold my attention. Sorry for the poor review of a book i didnt finish.
